Abstract
The development of integrated biosensor systems based on the optical detection principle dictates the need to ensure the passage of a pure biological sample into the detection zone. In particular, to detect protein structures based on their natural fluorescence, it is necessary to achieve a minimum number of blood cells in the detection area, since they make a parasitic contribution to the fluorescent signal. To solve this problem, in this work we used planar traps made of dry film photoresist. Various geometries of planar traps were manufactured and tested using model microobjects. Proved modeling of fluid flows in designed microfluidic systems. The effectiveness of the traps was assessed using software based on an edge density extraction algorithm. The designed microsystem units can be quite simply integrated into systems for cell analysis and can be used as tools for cell sorting and sample preparation in a lab-on-a-chip.
