C-shaped A-D-A non-fullerene acceptor achieves efficient organic solar cells

Organic solar cells are regarded as a promising strategy for greenenergy utilization. Photoactive materials and device technologies have been continually explored. Recently, in the Journal of the American Chemical Society , Xue et al. reported a C -shaped A -D -A NFA, achieving remarkable efficiency (18.32%) with a high V-oc (0.92 V).
