Study on Pressure Control Method of Combustion Chamber of Single-Stage Solid Rocket Motor

This article focuses on analyzing and studying on the combustion chamber of a single-stage solid rocket engine based on thermodynamics. The goal is to address issues with pressure control in the engine. In this paper, a nonlinear model was developed to validate and analyze the dynamic characteristics during the combustion process. Secondly, the nonlinear system is researched and designed by using linearization theory. Based on the dynamic characteristics and performance requirements during the combustion process, linear tools are used to design the controller. The inner loop adopts a Pseudo Differential Feedback (PDF) controller, while the outer loop adopts a bipolar controller. Finally, simulation experiments were conducted to verify that the combustion chamber pressure was controllable and met the expected requirements. The designed control system meets the requirements of system performance indicators and has good robustness.
