Energy overconsumption on highways is increasingly serious but easily ignored, which is related to the internal decentralisation of the integrated highway energy system. To address this problem this paper proposes a multi-objective optimal scheduling model for integrated highway energy systems based on NSGA-II. The optimisation model covers the supply side, transmission process and load side of the integrated energy system, and aims to maximise the synergistic effect of multiple energy sources and minimise the overall cost of the system, improve the utilisation of renewable energy sources and maintain the ecological environment. The optimisation model combines the load characteristics of multiple sections of the highway, the use of photovoltaic power generation and energy storage devices and grid power purchase for horizontal complementarity and vertical time-shift and through multiple iterations to get the system operation of the power purchase scheduling scheme, and finally through the VIKOR decision-making method to select the optimal scheme to achieve the purpose of reducing the economic cost and environmental costs. Finally, taking the actual system as an example, the analysis results further verify the feasibility of the optimisation model of the integrated energy system of the highway.
