摘要
Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a condition of high pressure in the spinal fluid that is common in young women who are overweight or obese. Headache happens in most individuals with IIH and can continue after the early phase of IIH has resolved. We studied the use of a newer type of medication developed for migraine called calcitonin gene-related peptide antibodies and we found that these medications can be helpful for patients who have had IIH, although studies with more patients will be helpful.
