Optimization Method of High Efficiency Collector Based on Energy Distribution Measurement

摘要
The high efficiency multistage depressed collector (MDC) of traveling wave tube (TWT) can improve the energy recovery efficiency and improve the reliability of the TWT. The MTSS-BWIS is not accurate enough to predict the electron beam state at the MDC inlet due to errors introduced in the manufacturing. This paper provides a method to optimize the MDC using constructed electron interfaces which based on measurement of energy distribution of electron beam at TWT-MDC inlet. Simulation experiments were carried out in MTSS-EOS and accuracy of this method got verified.
