摘要
In the middle and late stage of oilfield development, logging sequence stratigraphic correlation has dominant advantages with the in-depth exploitation and increasing well numbers. To divide strata and make accurate isochronal correlation on the basis of geological principles can establish reasonable stratigraphic framework, reveal the anisotropy of reservoir to guide rational exploitation of oilfields. This paper analyzes the cores and logging features from seven wells to divide Liu Jiagang 2 section into three pay zones, L2I, L2II (including three sub-formations, L2IIa, L2IIb and L2IIc), L2III. Then these five pay zones can be divided into 21 sub-layers, which have diversity in thickness and extend stably. On the plane, the favorable reservoir were commonly found in L2IIc and L2IIa sub-formations. And reservoir property is the best in the north-central district and worsening from south to north. This study would provide basic information for sand body distribution, sedimentary microfacies and reservoir anisotropy of Weizhou 12-2 Oilfield, which will have great significance for oilfield development. © 2013, EJGE.
