Духовно-нравственная автономность и смысложизненное служение христианина

The problem of Christian service is analyzed as a life-meaning phenomenon of human existence and its individual, spiritual and moral autonomy. The actions of a Christian that create spiritual and moral achievements in Christian ethics, are examined. It is shown that a person’s striving for the Absolute, overcoming earthly obstacles, through spiritual self-analysis, contradictory inner struggle, realized in actions, contributes to genuine service in the sense that service cannot be realized without actions. In addition, different concepts of the understanding of love are considered, and it is shown what causes a person’s longing for the transcendent, how much the concept of the Absolute can influence a person’s actual actions, his aspirations for higher values. The subject of the study is the meaningful life service of a Christian. The object of the study is the spiritual and moral autonomy of a Christian. The work shows that each person’s path to the Absolute, to God, is individual. In this sense, the Christian commandments and the idea of revelation do not contradict the autonomy of the individual.
