摘要
The aim of this work is to analyze the perceptions of teachers of Compulsory Secondary Education about the self-care of young people as well as about the interventions that are being developed in educational centers. The research takes place in both public and private schools in rural and urban areas in the city of Almeria (Spain). The methodology is qualitative, developed through an exploratory-descriptive study that incorporates the content analysis method. The data was obtained through semi-structured interviews, applied to twelve teachers. According to the perceptions of the participants, there is a direct relationship between the self-care of young people in all the subcategories analyzed and the family and social environment. Furthermore, in this context, a joint family-teaching center work is advocated, where teachers also request more and better training on these concepts. In conclusion, the study suggests, from the teachers' perception, that it is necessary to move from a biased and compartmentalized way of working towards an inclusive model where the family plays an important role in the measures offered by the center. In addition, this work establishes new lines of action both in the field of research and intervention in the area of youth self-care.
