Micro-Properties of Nanoparticle Modified Natural Ester Based on Molecular Dynamics

Natural ester insulating oil has a higher ignition point, a wider source of raw materials and is biodegradable. With the consumption of petroleum resources, the natural ester insulating oil will replace the mineral insulating oil used in the transformer. Nanotechnology is widely used to enhance the insulating properties of transformer insulating oils. In order to reveal the mechanism of the effect of nanoparticles on the antioxidant properties of natural ester insulating oils, models of natural ester insulation oil doped with nanoparticles were established based on molecular dynamic. The results show that the antioxidant properties of modified insulating oil are improved, and nanoparticles Al 2 O 3 have a stronger modifying effect. In the modified insulating oil, the temperature effect on the diffusion behavior of the oil molecules can be reduced and the hydrogen bond between the groups in the system can be strengthened. The damage to the interactions in the insulating oil is inhibited as the temperature rises. As a result, the ageing process of insulation oil will be slowed down. In the above research, the modification effect on natural ester insulation oil was investigated from the microscopic level. It provides an effective basis for nano-engineering insulating oils.
