摘要
We reported a MoS2/MoTe2 heterostructure with Au nanoparticles (Au NPs) using mechanical exfoliation and capillary-assisted particle assembly method. The photodetection properties of the heterostructure were significantly enhanced by the localized surface plasmon polaritons effect induced by the Au NPs. The results reveals that the maximum responsivity of the MoS2/MoTe2 heterostructure with Au NPs is 2771.998 A W−1 under light wavelength of 520 nm, which is higher than that of the as-fabricated heterostructure without Au NPs. Additionally, the increase of the photocurrent of the Au NPs/MoS2/MoTe2 heterostructure could be observed under visible to near-infrared light, reaching 10−4 A at 405 nm. Surface plasmon resonance enhances the local electric field on the surface of the MoS2/MoTe2 heterostructure, resulting in strongly improved light−material interaction and abundant hot electron doping from Au-NPs to heterostructure. The proposed structure offers a promising approach to enhance the photoelectric conversion of two-dimensional materials for advanced optoelectronic devices.
