Abstract
Due to the characteristics of orthogonal layup, CLT is more likely to occur time-dependent deformation. The creep behavior of hybrid CLT (HCLT) together with normal CLT specimens was analyzed under different constant-loading conditions (shear and bending) lasting for 90 days. The results showed that the long-term creep performance of these specimens was significantly affected by different loading conditions and layup. The values of relative creep of CLT and HCLT were 62% and 286% higher than those under bending, respectively. The variation of humidity had a certain influence on the long-term creep performance of CLT and HCLT, and the frequent change of relative humidity would accelerate the creep rate of these specimens. Besides, it has been found that the power law model and five-parameter model had the similar prediction for 10-year creep coefficient. Compared with five-parameter model, the power law model exhibited a less diversity between bending and shear specimens with regarding to the prediction of 50-year creep coefficient.
