Promoting electric conductivity of MnCo spinel coating by doping transition metals (Cu, Fe) or rare-earth elements (La, Y) for solid oxide fuel cell interconnect
INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF HYDROGEN ENERGY(2024)
摘要
The effects of doping transition metal and rare-earth elements on the Mn1.5Co1.5O4 coating were investigated to improve the oxidation resistance and electrical conductivity of coating/steel. The results show that transition metal improves the coating densification, and rare-earth element inhibits the formation of highly resistive Cr2O3 layers. The modified coating increases the octahedral sites of variable valence ion concentration. The areaspecific resistance (ASR) of the modified coating is reduced by 2-3 times compared with that of the conventional MnCo coating. The enhanced antioxidant properties of Cu-modified coatings during short -term oxidation processes.
