摘要
Photocatalysis has emerged as a pivotal tool in organic synthesis, facilitating mild, environmentally friendly, and efficient transformations toward crucial molecular scaffolds. Within this realm, thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters are used in widespread applications in photocatalysis due to their numerous advantages. Notably, TADF photocatalysts have recently demonstrated substantial utility in realizing enantioselective and diastereoselective transformations with the practical construction of central or/and axial chirality. The successful integration of TADF photocatalysts, whether D-A type or Cu(I) complexes, with organic/inorganic additives or traditional metal catalysts, with or without the incorporation of a chiral source, has markedly broadened the scope of photocatalysis for chiral synthesis. This convergence has ushered in innovative synthetic strategies in the field. The primary focus of this review is to accentuate recent advancements in stereoselective transformations facilitated by TADF photocatalysts. Additionally, we aim to offer insights into the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in this evolving domain.
