Additively manufactured 316L stainless steel via laser powder directed energy deposition (LP-DED): Mechanical properties at cryogenic and elevated temperatures
International Journal of Fatigue(2024)
摘要
•Laser powder direct energy deposited 316L stainless steel is characterized.•Tensile and fatigue behaviors are studied from cryogenic to elevated temperatures.•Martensitic transformation and twinning control tensile deformation at −196 & 21 °C.•Dislocation slip and dynamic recrystallization dominate the tensile behavior ≥ 21 °C.•Facets forming 45° observed from fatigue tests ≤ 427 °C indicate presence of PSBs.
