Performance Analysis of IoT-based Fertilization Compounding System for Melon Plant

Agriculture is one of the biggest supporting sectors for the economy of Indonesia. Almost the entire population of Indonesia depends on the agricultural sector. The fertilizer price increase is one of the constraints on Indonesian agriculture. The price increase resulted in a decrease in agricultural production. This problem can be overcome by using nutrition when it is necessary. The nutrients given to the plants will go through checking by Total Dissolved Solid sensors which are integrated with the microcontroller. These sensors will check checked total dissolved solid contained in the fertilizer. Then the dissolved solids data obtained will be used as a control for mixing AB mix with water through PID control. The results of the PID test showed that testing with a set point of 540 ppm resulted in stable control while testing with a set point of 1100 ppm resulted in a control result of dissolved solids of 1116 ppm. With an average error percentage is 4.22%.
