Abstract
In making decisions, a leader must be based on consideration. In the selection of a leader, it is feared that the elected candidate has impulsivity that affects his performance as a leader. Everything related to impulsive behavior is directly related to brain activity. Therefore, by measuring brain activity with electroencephalography (EEG) equipment, The experiment was conducted at the Army Training Center in a room that had been conditioned away from the noise and provided comfort to the subject. The subject is in a relaxed state, opening his eyes while looking at the stimulus. Electroencephalography (EEG) was recorded using the Mitsar EEG-202. Then the signal is filtered using a bandpass filter (BPF) with a cut-off of 0.5 Hz to 50 Hz. The results of data extraction are classified using the SVM method to group the data into several classes. The SVM quadratic classification method has the best accuracy compared to other classification methods. This can be seen in the accuracy results of 97.4%. The P300 method can generate amplitude and latency data from human brain signals. The amplitude and latency data can be used to classify the impulsive level of 13 subjects using the SVM squared method. With the results of significant accuracy, it can be shown that this method is appropriate for identifying the degree of impulsivity of a potential leader. The SVM quadratic classification model can be realized in the selection of potential leaders for an organization.
