摘要
Social networks diminish with age, increasing obligations of care and social engagement for family members and friends. COVID-19 quarantines exacerbated this scenario and accelerated adoption of relational technology among older adults. This adaptation necessitated support networks incorporating family, friends, self-support, and crucially, aging-in-place organizations like senior centers. This study surveys the viewpoints of adult relatives and friends concerning factors influencing the successful or unsuccessful integration of relational technology by older adults during and post COVID-19 quarantines. Utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), this research quantifies the role of aging-in-place organizations in older adults' behavioral intention and usage patterns regarding relational technology.
