Chronic venous ulcer: shaving therapy and meshgraft skin transplantation

Venous leg ulcer is the most common type of ulcers of the leg. Good wound management in combination with essential compression therapy allows most of the ulcerations to heal. If this therapy does not lead to healing, surgical therapy with ulcer shaving and subsequent meshgraft skin transplantation is a good therapy option for definitive wound coverage.
