Feature Point Extraction Algorithm for 3D Fragments of Cultural Relics

摘要
The boundary feature points of three-dimensional cultural relic fragments need to be extracted before reassembling. The false feature points may appear when extracting the boundary feature points of cultural relic fragments. In this paper, a variable interval length algorithm is proposed. The interval length of feature points is determined according to the need, and one feature point is selected for each interval In the selected interval, the absolute maximum of torsion and the maximum of curvature are selected as characteristic points. The theory proves that the algorithm of feature point extraction with variable interval length is correct, and the experiment shows that the algorithm can extract the feature points in different scales.
