摘要
The realization of high-precision target positioning based on the existing the fifth generation (5G) network is an issue of great interest to the industry. In this paper, we study the single target localization problem using OFDM signals in the Cloud-Radio Access Network (C-RAN) system scenario consisting of a transmitter and multiple receivers, and derive the Cramér–Rao bound (CRB) for target location estimation. In most of the existing work, they use the antenna array to sense the time-of-arrival (ToA) and direction-of-arrival (DoA) information of the target, and then use this information to locate the target. Different from them, the sensing nodes in this paper are widely distributed, and the sensing processing unit uses the location information of the received signal and the sensing nodes to directly estimate the target location. The latter can avoid the error caused by the estimation of intermediate variables, and fundamentally give the performance limit of positioning accuracy.
