Water extract of sporoderm-broken spores of Ganoderma lucidum elicits dual antitumor effects by inhibiting p-STAT3/PD-L1 and promoting ferroptosis in castration-resistant prostate cancer

A consolidated model that illustrates a plausible sequence for the mechanism by which BSGWE elicits dual antitumor effects in prostate cancer. BSGWE is a novel STAT3 inhibitor that mediates STAT3-induced ferroptosis and PD-L1-induced immune escape and also suggest the utilization of BSGWE as a potential therapeutic agent for CRPC treatment/mitigation.
