Research on Multi-Objective Demand Response in Industrial Parks Considering Electricity Costs and Consumer Comfort

As the tendency of the integration, technology, and modernization of the integrated energy system, there has been significant interest in studying the consumption patterns of park users. To help consumers optimize their own power consumption strategies to improve their temperature comfort and electricity consumption efficiency, this paper develops a demand response optimization model for air-conditioning users in parks. Firstly, a demand response resource regulation model is developed to assess consumers' electricity cost based on the stepped tariff. It takes into account the variance in indoor-outdoor temperature and air conditioning consumers' desired temperature curves to evaluate their comfort level. Subsequently, a multi-objective optimization technique is applied to determine users' power consumption strategy, aiming to reduce overall power consumption costs, enhance user comfort, and ensure effective peak load reduction or off-peak demand fulfillment. Finally, an ideal-point-based decision method is employed to acquire the optimal strategy from the obtained Pareto solution set. The efficiency of the proposed approach is validated by conducting experimental case studies.
