摘要
This study presents the implementation and evaluation of the Walk Over Weighing (WoW) system for monitoring the weight of beef cattle. The study results indicate that the WoW system improves efficiency in managing the beef cattle weight monitoring process. The system allows farmers to weigh, track, and process weight data for their cattle remotely, providing valuable insights to aid in identifying trends and improving livestock farming management. Furthermore, the system supports decision-making in the fattening process for beef cattle by offering data on stable rate growth performance, readiness for sale to the market, high growth rate performance, and low rate growth performance, accounting for uncontrollable differences in cattle age. The results of measuring the body weight of beef cattle showed a different correlation of cattle growth, which is associated with the cow's health with a correlation value (r) of growth of more than 0.900, while a poorly healthy beef castle has a lower correlation coefficient of growth. Overall, this study provides evidence for the utility of the WoW system in supporting decision-making in the fattening process for beef cattle.
