Influence of Modification of Dual V-shaped IPMSM Rotor Permanent Magnet Structure on Motor Performance

摘要
This article studies how rotor structural changes affect the performance of dual V-shaped permanent magnet motors in electric vehicles. By examining different rotor structures, it was found that adjusting the thickness and length of the inner and outer layer magnets impacts the motor's torque and efficiency. Results show that thinner, longer magnets increase torque, while thicker, shorter magnets maintain higher speeds. The outer magnet's modification has a more significant effect on performance than the inner one. This research offers insights for optimizing electric vehicle operations and improving motor design, ultimately enhancing electric car performance.
