Abstract
The effect of the temperature, pressure, and gas phase composition on anisole deoxygenation in supercritical n -hexane in the presence of a palladium catalyst supported on hypercrosslinked polystyrene is studied. The maximum yield of aromatic products (benzene, toluene) is obtained under the following conditions: a temperature of 270°C and an initial pressure of the nitrogen–hydrogen mixture (20 vol % H 2 ) of 1.5 MPa.
