Research on fault location technology of power equipment based on acoustic array

Acoustic imaging technology is a new type of inspection technology that has been developing rapidly in recent years. Visual acoustic imaging technology can be used to locate the sound source of abnormal parts, which has advantages compared with other state sensing technologies. In order to improve the accuracy of acoustic imaging technology in power equipment fault location, this paper establishes a linear microphone array simulation model, and uses the simulation model and experiments to study the influence of different parameters on the sound source location effect, including the microphone layout, sound source frequency and distance. The abnormal noise of a 35kV transformer is successfully diagnosed by using acoustic array, which provides a new technical means for transformer fault diagnosis.
