Aperiodically Intermittent Control for Fixed-Time Stability Under Denial-of-Service Attack

This article considers aperiodically intermittent control (AIC) for fixed-time stability under Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack. To enhance the effectiveness of detecting and mitigating diverse forms of DoS attacks, our approach utilizes a classification method that centers on the frequency and duration attributes of the attack signals. For AIC, the utilization of average control rate yields less conservative results. By applying the Lyapunov method, the fixed-time stability theorem is established for AIC under DoS attack, which provides necessary conditions to fixed-time stability of cyber-physical systems (CPSs) in the presence of DoS attacks. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of theoretical results.
