Exploring the effect of surface wettability on heterogeneous condensation of carbon Dioxide: A molecular dynamics study

•The heat and mass transfer process of CO2 condensation was studied at the microscale.•The wettability of the solid surface affects the condensation heat transfer mode of CO2.•The thermal resistance of each part of the gas–liquid and liquid–solid interface were analyzed.•Low temperature and high system pressure have positive effects on CO2 capture or removal.
