摘要
In this paper, Dy-doped In2O3 nanomaterials were prepared by hydrothermal method. The crystal structure, elemental composition and morphology were characterized by various characterization methods. The gassensitive properties of the materials were tested for different Dy/In molar ratios. The test results show that the response of 5 mol% Dy-doped In2O3 to 100 ppm ethanol at 250 celcius reaches 85, which is about 3.8 times higher than that of pure In2O3, with a response time of about 5 s. In addition, Dy doping enhances the selectivity to ethanol, with good reproducibility and stability. The reason for the enhancement of gas-sensitive properties of In2O3 by Dy doping is mainly the creation of structural defects, which increase the amount of adsorbed oxygen on the surface of the material, enabling it to react with more ethanol molecules.
