ResumenLa osteoartritis es la enfermedad articular masfrecuente. Su principal sintoma es el dolor con osin limitacion funcional de la articulacion compro-metida. El deterioro del cartilago articular es unelemento central en su patogenesis. En la practicadiaria el tratamiento se centra en aliviar el dolory mejorar la funcionalidad, sin alterar el cursonatural de la enfermedad.
