The Jiamusi Block involved in the East Gondwana’s interior orogeny: Constrained by geochronology of paragneiss from the Mashan Complex

•Two sets of supracrustal rocks (915–898 Ma and 812–725 Ma) of the Mashan Complex have been defined.•The Jiamusi Block experienced granulite-facies metamorphism at 566–560 Ma and retrograde metamorphism at 546–484 Ma.•The possible linkage between the Jiamusi Block and Kuunga-Pinjarra Orogen is constrained.
