Abstract
The attitude control problem of microgravity satellite is studied, and a microgravity attitude control scheme using only magnetic torquer for active control is proposed. The paper conducts a force analysis of in orbit satellites, sorts out various factors that affect the microgravity level of satellites, and proposes a low-cost microgravity satellite attitude control system scheme that only uses magnetometers and magnetic torquer under cost constraints. The paper proposes a joint attitude control scheme that combines active and passive control by using only a magnetometer for attitude determination without a gyroscope, and combining a magnetic torquer with a gravity gradient. Then, based on the application requirements of a certain satellite model, the paper designed the orbit and configuration of the satellite, completed the attitude control scheme and in orbit working mode design. Finally, mathematical simulation was conducted, and the results showed that the proposed scheme can achieve attitude control for safe and stable satellite operation. The microgravity level is better than 3e-7 times the Earth's surface gravity acceleration, meeting the design requirements, and has high technical reference value for low-cost microgravity satellites.
