In Vietnam, the proportion of solar capacity has accounted for a relatively high proportion of the total installed capacity of the entire system by the end of 2022, the total nationwide installed capacity of rooftop solar (RTS) will reach around 10GW with more than 100.000 projects. In such context, how to identify the typical situations and solutions in distribution grids integrated RTS is necessary. The key objectives of this research are to collect information, to describe and analyses typical situations and solutions in selected distribution grids with high and further increasing RTS penetration and the capacities, procedures and tools of local dispatch centers of the Power Companies (PCs) to address these situations. This research also proposed proper/ practical solutions to common situations faced by low and medium voltage distribution grids with a large share of RTS, focusing on low and medium voltage feed-in.
