Schematic revealing the mechanism by which Pol inhibits HGHF-mediated ferroptosis and T2DOP. Pol reduces HGHF-induced ferroptosis by decreasing ROS accumulation and rescuing mitochondrial dysfunction in BMSCs, improving bone microstructure in T2DOP by activating the Nrf2/GPX4 signaling pathway.
