摘要
•This present study was the first to use propensity score matching to investigate the impact of urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR) and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) on the long-term prognosis in patients with heart failure (HF).•These findings indicated UACR may be a more important indicator than eGFR, and they synergistically and complementary reflect long-term mortality.•UACR should receive the same attention as eGFR and be included in the baseline data observation of HF trials.
