Design and optimization of a temperature controller with low overshoot, fast respond and high COP based on water-source thermoelectric heat pump

摘要
In this study, a thermoelectric temperature control device combined with liquid heat transfer with accuracy up to +/- 0.06 C was designed and constructed. The heating and temperature control performance of the device were evaluated by 3 key parameters Overshoot(g), Respond time(T-s) and Coefficient of performance for heating (COPh). By establishing response surface models, the critical factors that influence the 3 key parameters are addressed. The results indicate that water temperature (T-w) is the most significant factor that influencing g and COPh. The current intensity (I) is the primary factor that influencing T-s. By using a particle swarm optimization algorithm, the overall performance of the device is optimized.
