Structure of Heavy Mesons in the Light-Front Quark Model

We analyze the structure of the ground-state heavy mesons in the light-front quark model by utilizing the wave functions obtained by the Single Gaussian Ansatz (SGA) and Gaussian Expansion Method (GEM). For this purpose, we perform a χ^2 fit to both the mass spectra and the decay constants in each method to determine the model parameters. After determining the parameters, we compare the impacts of both methods on the light-front wave functions and several observables. Notably, a key difference emerges in the distribution amplitudes (DAs) near both endpoints: the DAs obtained with the GEM are significantly enhanced compared to those from the SGA. Additionally, the electromagnetic form factors computed with the GEM are generally smaller than those obtained for the SGA, leading to a larger charge radius for the GEM.
