摘要
•A detailed evaluation of a novel solar/biomass-powered multigeneration energy system was developed.•A multi-objective optimization (regarding the technical, cost, and environmental objective functions) was developed.•A linear Fresnel concentrator-driven solar farm and a municipal solid waste gasification unit were integrated.•The offered system can achieve energetic and exergetic efficiencies of 38.8% and 32.2%, respectively.•Increasing the syngas temperature at the inlet of the combustion chamber can be a reasonable decision from the exergetic, economic and (especially) environmental standpoints.
