Abstract
Dopamine (DA) detection has important significance in the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases. Here, a novel laccase-based electrochemical biosensor was designed for DA detection. Titanium carbide (TiC) acts as the electron transfer promotor to construct electronic channel between laccase (Lac) and nickel foam (NF) electrode. The fabricated Lac/TiC/NF electrode exhibited good electrocatalytic activity toward DA. The linear detection range of Lac/TiC/NF electrode for DA was 0.1-1100 mu M, and the calibrated sensitivity and calculated detection limit were 59.39 mu A mM-1 and 65 nM, respectively. Further, Lac/TiC/NF electrode has favorable antiinterference capacity and satisfying stability for DA detection. In addition, Lac/TiC/NF electrode can realize DA detection in diluted human serum sample, demonstrating the practicability of Lac/TiC/NF electrode.
