摘要
This work presents a novel reconfigurable flat lens antenna that utilizes GeTe, a phase-change material. The antenna design consists of a cavity-backed slot antenna serving as the unit cell for the lens antenna. By applying a GeTe plating on the center of two radiating slots, the radiation phase of the unit cell can be adjusted between 0° and 180°. Based on this principle, a flat lens antenna operating at 90 GHz is developed. By manipulating the state of the GeTe, the lens antenna can achieve various radiation beams. The antenna exhibits a 3-dB gain bandwidth of 6.2 % from 85.5 to 91 GHz, with a maximum gain of 22.5 dBi. The proposed lens antenna has potential applications in 6G wireless communications.
