Abstract
In the 1980s and 1990s, several surveys were carried out as part of the Los Millares Project, in order to expand our knowledge of the sequence of occupation of the Finana and Tabernas corridors during Late Prehistoric times. Here we present part of the results of these surveys, focusing on the phases of the Late Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age. The analysis of the materials has allowed us to explore the dynamics of settlement in the transition to the formation of the Iberian oppida, in addition to allowing us to attach new settlements to these periods. Among the materials studied, lathe fragments of Phoenician origin are very rare, which indicates that these areas were not important routes of penetration to the inland region.
