Abstract
This paper proposes a prism permanent magnet magnetic coupler, which uses static magnetic attraction as a characterization parameter to describe its magnetic field coupling effect. The finite element simulation results show that under the condition of an air gap distance of 2 mm, the magnetic density value of the prism body permanent magnet magnetic coupler on the surface of the copper disk can reach 0.49T, and the axial static magnetic attraction force on the copper rotor is 157.5 N. In addition, the magnetic density distribution on the surface of the copper disk exhibits a sinusoidal waveform, and the static magnetic attraction exhibits a nonlinear negative correlation with the air gap distance.
