Interaction between cardiac resynchronization therapy and cytokines in heart failure patients

•In CHF, damaged myocardium sends a signal to stimulate the immune system. In continuous, cytokine storm is initiated and causes the probability of CHF and persistent inflammation causes remodeling.•CRT is an effective treatment for CHF and can be beneficial to management of heart failure.
