摘要
Indonesia has natural gas reservoirs with high CO2 content, such as Natuna and Bojonegoro gas fields. Various technologies have been developed, including cryogenic distillation separation technology suitable for application to gas wells with high CO2 content. Cryogenic distillation separates CO2 with high purity according to the operating conditions and the CO2 dew point. Cryogenic distillation was simulated in this study to determine the purity of the CO2 and to compare the economic potential of each approach. The highest CO2 purity using CFZ technology is 98.72% in the Natuna, while the highest purity of CH4 using Pellegrini Distillation technology is 99.95% in the Bojonegoro. Economically, the Natuna and Bojonegoro estimates using the CFZ technology have a lower total annual cost than the Pelegrini distillation. However, CFZ technology has a lower CO2 capture cost than Pellegrini Distillation technology, 7.9 USD/tonne CO2 and 10.26 USD/tonne CO2. In other words, separation using the CFZ technology is more effective for gas fields with higher CO2.
