Assessment of the Doppler Effect on Transmission Characteristics in LEO Satellite Networks

摘要
Laser-based inter-satellite links for LEO satellite networking are a promising technique for future 6G networks. However, the variable high-speed relative motion of LEO satellites results in time-variable Doppler shifts at different locations. In this paper, we derive and simulate the Doppler shifts in detail at different locations within the LEO satellite network and analyze their effects on the network characteristics.
