Comparison of Regional Saturation Biopsy, Targeted Biopsy, and Systematic Biopsy in Patients with Prostate-specific Antigen Levels of 4–20 ng/ml: A Prospective, Single-center, Randomized Controlled Trial

In the operating room, a heated competition of prostate biopsy is underway. It involves a soldier representing the systematic biopsy, a sniper representing the targeted biopsy, and a young doctor conducting the regional saturation biopsy. Each participant utilizes their specific biopsy techniques to compete in the prostate biopsy of suspicious areas identified through magnetic resonance imaging. The ultimate goal is to determine the winner based on the higher detection of clinically significant cancer, fewer biopsy cores, and lower detection of insignificant cancer.
