Abstract
Maintenance scheduling is the safety and reliability guarantee of power system. Since the scale wind generation in power system increases rapidly, the volatility and uncertainty of the wind generation output should be considered in maintenance scheduling. This paper proposes a co-optimization model of midterm maintenance and short-term security-constrained unit commitment (SCUC) considering large-scale wind energy integration. The maintenance model includes generation unit maintenance and transmission line maintenance scheduling and the uncertainty of wind energy is considered by multi-scenario method. Both economy and reliability of system operation are considered in the proposed model so that the objective of the model is minimizing the total cost including the penalty cost of load shedding and wind curtailment. The problem is solved by surrogate Lagrangian relaxation method. A 6-bus system is used to perform detailed case analysis and a modified 118-bus system is used to verify the generality of the proposed model.
