Abstract
With the increasing civilian use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), their impact on public safety is receiving increasing attention from society. This article focuses on analyzing the influencing factors of different types of civil UAVs to power substations. Establishing a security threat assessment system for different types of civilian UAVs on primary and secondary equipment in power substations is a crucial step toward preventing any potential damage caused by UAVs. By conducting experiments to measure the performance of UAVs and their impact on the electromagnetic interference of the secondary equipment in power substations, the article provides valuable perspectives into the potential risks posed by UAVs. The results of the experiments suggest that the impact of UAVs on the primary equipment of power substations is greater than their electromagnetic interference on the secondary equipment. This finding could help guide future efforts to prevent the impact of civilian UAVs on power substations.
