Path Loss Modeling Based on USRP-X410 and General Graph Optimization Algorithm

Path loss is a critical parameter in representing the characteristics of wireless channels and plays a pivotal role in wireless channel modeling. This paper introduces a novel method for path loss modeling, leveraging the general graph optimization (G2O) algorithm. Importantly, the data used for modeling were derived from extensive measurements using the USRP-X410 platform, which adds a unique element of practical applicability to our research. Two different models for indoor and outdoor scenarios were developed and optimized with this approach. The results indicate a significant reduction in modeling errors by using the G2O algorithm, effectively enhancing the accuracy of the path loss model.
